Rob Stolzman received a 2023 Ambassadors Award from the Providence Warwick Convention & Visitors Bureau (PWCVB) at their luncheon held on March 30th at the Rhode Island Convention Center. This award is given to members of the Rhode Island community who have connected new customers to the PWCVB. Rob was instrumental in bringing The Men of Reform Judaism’s Centennial celebration, which will be celebrated in Providence June 23-25, 2023.
The Men of Reform Judaism (MRJ) was formed in 1923 as the National Association of Temple Brotherhoods as a national alliance of Reform synagogue Brotherhoods. Brotherhoods serve the community at large with philanthropic and fundraising volunteer activities ranging from building housing for the unsheltered to buying books for synagogue religious schools. The Brotherhood of Temple Beth-El, Providence, also was formed in 1923 and will be the host temple for the MRJ Centennial.
Walter Adler, a founding partner of Adler Pollock & Sheehan P.C. was a president of Temple Beth-El, and in 1986 during Walter’s last year of having an office at AP&S after his retirement, his assigned associate was Rob Stolzman, then a first year lawyer at the firm. Rob went on to serve as president of Temple Beth-El from 2016 – 2020.
